Dreaming Otherwise is a series of six weekly digital poetry workshops for a cohort of sick/disabled/Mad queer people, generating writing through embodied practice and ritual, and culminating in an anthology of individual and collective works. Each meeting, we will read and discuss the work of poet-organizers such as June Jordan, Audre Lorde, Franny Choi, Zaina Alsous, and more; engage with visual, musical, and somatic prompts to create new individual work; and write together toward collective compositions.
